Tata Tiago's first service is scheduled at 1000-2000 kms or 2 months, whichever comes first, from the date of delivery.
On your first service, there is not much done. The car will undergo some basic checkups. Mechanics will be checking wiper fluid level and oil levels and topping it up. The AC filter will be cleaned by them as well. They will check and tighten up all the underbody nut/bolts.
If your car is one of the first batch of manufactured cars, starting from March 2016 to around September/October (not very reliable end month), then you might want to enquire about the following with the service center on your first service as the following services have been performed on those. 1. Fuel filler pump neck replacement. 2. AC Clamp upgrade/replacement. 3. ECU update.
1. Fuel filler pump neck replacement: There have been reports of know issue of mud leaking through the fuel lid compartment of the car, and the company has rolled out newer versions of filler pump neck. The whole assembly might be replaced, so do inquire about that. 2. AC Clamp: Some cars of first batch needed AC camp upgrade/replacement, do inquire about that. 3. ECU update: There is an ECU update which, according to some owners, addresses the RPM issues (with relation to car vibration).
Check out the "Known Issues" section on this forum to know more about common issues and get them addressed during first 1st service.
Share you experience of 1st service and work done here.
